Final Evanescence Tour?

Subject: Final Evanescence Tour? Sun Oct 28, 2007 11:57 pm

So I was reading an AOL interview with Amy Lee and she said that this is the final tour. At the Orange Beach concert (which was amazing) she said, "This is the final tour for The Open Door." So is this the last Ev tour ever? Or just the last tour until a new CD comes out? I hope I'm wrong, but I think this is the end. silent

The band is down to half of its original members, and Amy doesn't seem very interested in making a new album right away. Plus she's married now, and has always wanted a "normal life". What do you guys think? Is this tour the end of Evanescence? Sad

(At least I got to see them once in my life! Very Happy

I bloody hope not!!!!! I think she just means that was the last 1 for that album. She did say she was taking time off because she's now married, maybe she wants kids? I don't know, but we had to wait 3 years for the open door, we'll probably have to wait another 3 for the new 1!!!

New CD's are always great, but I wish they would tour more. I'm so happy that I got to see them in concert, because I thought I never would get the chance. But now I'm addicted. =p

Well it was amazing!! I mainly just went so that I could see Amy Lee in person. I didn't get to meet her, but I was only 30feet/10meters away from the stage! Very Happy

I don't think its the end of Evanescence but it will be awhile before there's any new material, which sucks.

I've heard rumours that Amy might be pregnant because she keeps rubbing her belly! So i think it either is the end or it's going to be a long time until any more albums Sad

But if she is pregnant then i say congratulations to her Smile

Mmmm, i agree. I get the feeling we've seen the last of Evanescence Sad

But maybe not of Amy Lee, i think whatever she does she'll always come back to music. Lucky us Wink

Well, Amy's sister has always been in a band of some sort. Maybe she'll get a label. And then in like 20 years maybe Amy's kid will be making awesome music! Just imagine how perfect your life would be if Amy was your mom.

Well according to Tim, they're going to take a really long break. like longer than the wait in between Fallen and TOD. But Amy says she's going to be writing, she just needs time off to be a wife for now.

oh and I saw Amy on Monday up close. she really does look preggers.
